As a teacher at the Alternative Education Center, I feel strongly that not all students learn the same way, and my goal is to figure out how to best teach my students so they can experience success. I strive to employ a wide variety of teaching methods in all my classes.  The motto I remind my students of daily is, "Different doesn't mean BAD or WRONG; it just means DIFFERENT."  As we explore literature and personal writing, I try to model respect for all.
